2010 has been a year of fear and
skepticism on the part of the consumer. Building relationships
face-to-face is more important than ever as our economy slowly
recovers. As a relationship-oriented financial advisor, your strength
is in meeting and interacting with people.
Take advantage of as many social
opportunities to meet new people as you can this time of year. Collect
names, collect business cards and demonstrate a sincere interest in
people. Itís a lot more fun to see how many people you can meet and
connect with rather than trying to open new business this time of
year. Then call them in January.
